Ellie is a stunning, tri-coloured Mini Bernedoodle out of Crumpet and Pandora.

Her mother, Pandora, was bred at Swissridge, as was her grandmother, Nellar. Ellie’s great grandfather, Daiko, was the second male Bernese I owned, whom I imported from Belgium. As you can tell, I am personally familiar with her lines four generations back on her mother’s side. Ellie’s father, Crumpet, has proven himself by producing amazing, fun, playful, and healthy pups since 2015. He has sired many pups that I have kept for my breeding program.

Ellie reminds me a lot of her mother. She has the Bernese personality that is loving, loyal, and relaxed. She has bursts of energy when running around outside, but if it were up to her, she would rather be sleeping in a comfy bed next to a fire. What I love most about her are her sweet nature and her soft, caring eyes. She is a dog who would be perfect for a household with young children or for someone with little or no experience with dogs. She is one of those dogs that you hardly need to train because she is naturally well behaved. She is patient and rarely barks. She is calm and seldom jumps on us. She sits quietly for pets and would happily sit on your foot all day just to be close. This loyal, loving nature is a typical Bernese trait.

Ellie occasionally goes swimming with the staff at SwissRidge, but she prefers to wear a life jacket and float around rather than actually swim, it is quite funny to see. I would not say she loves the water, but she tolerates it.

Ellie’s best friends are Kinder and Maeve. They are the three amigos who play together in the yard, share toys, go for walks, and are always found cuddled up on the same bed.

Ellie is an amazing mother. She is kind, caring and gentle with her pups. She has a very nurturing nature. Feedback from families who have her puppies has been wonderful. They say the pups are sweet, affectionate, and have brought them endless love and joy.

Ellie has been fully health tested, and her health certificates are attached for your review. At SwissRidge, we complete thorough health testing on all of our dogs, including x-rays, DNA testing, and comprehensive physical exams performed by a licensed veterinarian to ensure we are breeding only the healthiest dogs who will go on to produce strong, healthy puppies.
